How to Watch TikTok Using a VPN

If TikTok is restricted in your region, you can use a VPN to enjoy fast, secure, and reliable access. Follow the steps below to get started.

Step 1: Connect to VineVPN

  1. Launch the VineVPN app
  2. Tap the “Server List” button
  3. Choose a high-speed node that works well with TikTok (such as Singapore, Japan, or the US)
  4. Once selected, the app will automatically connect—just wait a few seconds

Step 2: Prevent SIM Card Detection by TikTok

TikTok may use your SIM card information to detect your actual location, which can impact what content you see or whether you can access the app at all.

✅ To avoid this, turn on Airplane Mode and use Wi-Fi + VPN only

Step 3: How to Enable Airplane Mode on Your Device

📱 iPhone (iOS)

  1. Swipe down to open the Control Center
  2. Tap the ✈️ Airplane Mode icon (it should turn orange when enabled)
  3. Then turn on Wi-Fi and reconnect to VineVPN

🤖 Android Devices

  1. Swipe down from the top to open Quick Settings
  2. Tap the ✈️ Airplane Mode icon
  3. Turn on Wi-Fi and connect to VineVPN

Step 4: Open TikTok

  1. Make sure you’re connected to the VPN
  2. Open the TikTok app
  3. You should now be able to browse and use TikTok without restrictions

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why do I still need Wi-Fi after turning on Airplane Mode?

A: Airplane Mode disables both cellular and Wi-Fi. You’ll need to manually turn Wi-Fi back on to use the VPN.

Q: I connected to the VPN but still can’t access TikTok—why?

A: Your SIM card may still be causing location detection. Try removing the SIM or turning on Airplane Mode and try again.
